I like helping people and I will keep on doing it because there is nothing as good as helping and being there for someone
Arebe Goodluck Ofejiro
Delta State, Nigeria
I am glad to be a part of change in my country and to promote initiatives of leadership, education and development in Africa.
To me, simplicity and humility is my watch word as I believe that in our simplest form we can achieve so much.
I aspire to see change in myself as a young leader of integrity and to raise young people to that standard.
Ahmed Javed Oria
Many people are thinking of changing the world but no one is thinking of changing themselves....It’s getting clearer to me that change starts with me.
I am a young African with the vision that one day Africa will be a better place for all provided that I give change a chance.
My goal is to see a society that is free from violence where people will come together as one irrespective of their ethnic, religious and cultural values.
I am a young man with ambition and motivation to help change and create a new African continent for sustainable development of the African youth. I believe in human rights and attitudinal change of people. ‘Change begins with me’.
Coming from a region that faces a challenge of religious and ethnic divisions, I feel that I have a responsibility to engage my people in a way that can forge a way forward towards bridging these gaps.
I believe that nothing the leader says should be about him but about helping to guide the people around him into greater liberty so that eventually he is not needed.
I am passionate about the co-existence of people who irrespective of tribal, ethnicity, religious and cultural differences come together to pursue a common goal to the betterment of our community.
When I look at people’s face, I know what they are feeling about me and other people. I have come to learn that Africans are really caring and kind.
I envision an accountable and God fearing leadership in Africa through a network of individuals and institutions that are focused towards leadership development.
As a Social Counsellor and a Language Instructor I am doing my best to work on my attitudes and potentials so that I can be the change I want to see in the world.
With my positive contribution, we will achieve greatness in Africa...change begins with me.
